College Football with Ben Ryan

Here we are on week four of college football which is really the only sport I keep up with.  As previously stated, it’s hard to be a Razorback fan in this area.  Well, my Hogs sure are looking pretty good so far this year but the true test comes this weekend in Arlington as they take on their first real challenge, Texas A&M.  The Razorbacks gave the Longhorns a run for their money but as the season has continued that’s not much to brag about.  The Southwest Classic between the Hogs and Aggies has always been a hard fought and great game.  My Hogs have let me down the last NINE meetings in a row but I have faith this year.  The Hogs have been playing well so far this year sitting at the 16th position on the AP rankings while the Aggies are sitting 7th.  Of course if the Hogs pull of the win we won’t hear the end of “If Haynes King had been playing the outcome would have been completely different.”  That could be true and I wish King would be in this game to make it even more competitive and interesting but these things happen to teams all the time.  I do wish King a speedy recovery.  Even without King I feel A&M is a very strong team and this is the first SEC (real) team the Hogs will be facing so it should be interesting.  Woo Pig, Go Hogs!
