On the Wednesday night edition of the Local Music Showdown Travis Parker would return for as second night on his journey to the Hall of Fame. However newcomer Jerrod Flusche would enter the ring with his rendition of Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys to put up the fight of a lifetime. End the end, Jerrod would reign victorious and move on to his second round. There will be a brief pause in the Showdown Thursday night but it will return on Friday with a new contender, Bullet Creek. Austin Upchurch was your returning contestant from Tuesday night and going up against a new outfit out of the Denton area by the name of Hayeden Leenhouts. Hayeden has a traditional country sound and that would be help him score the W tonight. Since Chance Anderson made it through his 5th round last night he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. That means I had to find two new contestants for tonight. Enter Austin Upchurch and Justin Myers. Austin had submitted a new tune called A Hundred Thoughts with a cool rockin' sound. Justin sent in Get Back To Texas, a true country song. Well kids, tonight was the deciding night. Would Chance Anderson make it into the Hall of Fame with a fifth win tonight or would The 40 Acre Mule knock him out of being the first?
