Mason Marek & the Drifters make it to a second round on Friday night facing off against The Matthew Show. Two unique styles of of Texas Music going head to head was quite the treat. In the end The Matthew Show was able to take the victory and will return tonight to battle it out with Marshall Purvis. It all kicks off at 9:10pm!

My friend, Joe Savage, introduced me to Shane Rendon and suggested he submit for the Local Music Showdown in which he did. Seth Jones has been in the competition before but hasn't quite made the five. Last night they went head to head and the battle was intense, not like camping though, with 5 votes deciding the winner..... Shane Rendon took the win. Abbey Brown & the Sound has been strikin' down the competition left and right. Last night she returned for a fifth and final night either heading to the Hall of Fame or being sent home by Skip Pullig. After a long and high voting chapter, Abbey Brown would take the win and head on over to the Hall of Fame. I am in need of new music to feature on the Local Music Showdown.
