95.9 The Ranch & On The Square Guns & Ammo — Big Buck Contest Official Rules

Contest Date & Location:
95.9 The Ranch (hereafter referred to as “the Station”) and On The Square Guns & Ammo will host the Big Buck Contest on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at On The Square Guns & Ammo, 101 A N. Main Street, Springtown, TX.

Eligibility

• Contest is open to legal residents of Texas.

• Participants must hold a valid Texas hunting license and comply with all Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regulations.

• One (1) entry per person.

• Entrants under 17 years of age must have parent or legal guardian permission to participate and to receive any prizes.

• Employees, agents, and affiliates of the Station, LKCM Radio Group, LP, and the listed Sponsors, as well as their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, or household members), are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter

No purchase necessary.
Bring a legally harvested, tagged deer taken that same day to On The Square Guns & Ammo between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on November 1, 2025.

All entries will be measured in person according to the Boone and Crockett Scoring System.

Winner Selection

There will be two (2) divisions:

• Youth Division: Ages 6–16 years old.
  Youth participants must have parent or legal guardian permission to enter and receive prizes.

• Adult Division: Ages 17 and older.

At 1:00 p.m., all entries will be reviewed, and the deer with the highest total score in each division will be declared the winner.

Prizes

Youth Division Prizes:

• $250 Gift Certificate from On The Square Guns & Ammo

• $250 Gift Certificate toward a mount from Chisholm Trail Taxidermy

• Processing from Hamilton Meats

Adult Division Prizes:

• $250 Gift Certificate from On The Square Guns & Ammo

• $250 Gift Certificate toward a mount from Chisholm Trail Taxidermy

• Processing from Hamilton Meats

Prize Conditions:
All prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other consideration.
No prize substitutions are allowed except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.

Each winner is responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including payment of any applicable taxes.
Any expenses not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of the prize winner.

Miscellaneous Rules

• High-fence deer will NOT be accepted.

• No decapitated heads, skull caps, or antler-only submissions. The deer’s body must be present at the time of measurement.

• Entrants understand that any information provided will be used in accordance with the Station’s Privacy Policy, available at 959TheRanch.com.

• The Station, Sponsors, and affiliates assume no liability for any injury, death, or property damage arising from participation in this contest or use of any prize.

• The Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant at its sole discretion or to change, update, or amend these rules at any time without prior notice.

• Sponsors reserve the right to change or substitute prizes without prior notice.

• By entering, participants grant the Station, Sponsors, and affiliates unrestricted rights to use any photos, videos, recordings, or information collected in connection with this contest for promotional or other purposes without compensation.

• Participation in this contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
