THEIR STORY
A Match Made in Morning Radio – Two DJs. Two stations. One incredible connection.
Ken likes to say, “I had told everyone that it would literally take thunder, lightning, galloping horses and trumpets blaring from above to make me consider another relationship.” And fate delivered exactly that.
Elle recalls, “We were asked to be co-emcees at the annual Fort Worth Parade of Lights. So of course, every good parade has plenty of horses and trumpets.”
Ken adds, “…and this one started in a thunderous rainstorm! I took the hint.”
Their first meeting wasn’t exactly picture-perfect either:
Elle: “When we first met at a station event, I completely flubbed his name.”
Ken: “She called me Kevin…”
Elle: “But we were already finishing each other’s sentences the first time we worked together.”
Ken: “On paper, we’re competitors in the market, but in truth we make each other better.”
Elle: “That was nearly three years ago—and we’ve never looked back.”
Now, the couple will officially say “I do” on December 27th, 2025, right here in the Fort Worth Stockyards. And while they’ll become husband and wife, both Elle and KB will continue hosting their morning shows—just now with wedding rings and even more stories to share.
