Ranch Tuesdays are officially heading west to Weatherford for an all-new weekly songwriter showcase on the Heim BBQ patio. Starting March 17, join us every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM for an intimate, acoustic evening hosted by Cole Sheriff. Each week, local singer-songwriters will take the stage to share not only their music — but the stories behind the songs.
The last Tuesday of every month, we hand the mic over to you! During our Ranch Open Mic Night, aspiring artists get the chance to perform live on the patio — and two standout performers will win a full day of recording time at Eastlake Recording Studio.
Make an evening of it with Heim’s extended happy hour featuring award-winning farm-to-smoker BBQ, cold brews, and plenty of patio vibes. Add in Ranch games, prizes, and giveaways, and you’ve got the perfect Tuesday night hang.

Ranch Tuesdays Open Mic Night – Official Rules
The following rules apply to all Ranch Open Mic Nights held at Heim BBQ in Weatherford (1910 S Main St, Weatherford, TX 76086)
EVENT DATES
Open Mic Nights will take place on:
March 31
April 28
May 26
The Finals will be held on June 2.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Registration is in-person only with The Ranch Promotions Crew between 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM on the night of the event.
The first eight (8) eligible artists to register will be selected to perform.
Performance order will be determined by Ranch staff.
Performers must be present at check-in to secure their slot. Late arrivals may forfeit their opportunity to perform.
PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES
Performances must be acoustic only.
A maximum of two (2) performers may be on stage per act.
Artists must perform original music only.
No cover songs permitted.
Each act will be given a designated performance time (to be determined by staff).
Artists may not sell merchandise during the event.
All performances must be appropriate for a general audience. The Ranch reserves the right to stop any performance deemed inappropriate.
WINNER SELECTION (Each Open Mic Night)
Each Open Mic Night will produce up to two (2) winners:
- Crowd Favorite Winner
– Determined by votes cast by audience members in attendance.
– Voting method and eligibility will be determined by The Ranch staff. - Ranch Wild Card Winner
– Selected by the Ranch on-air host/jock at their sole discretion.
Both winners will receive:
One (1) full day of recording time at Eastlake Recording Studio.
– Recording session details, scheduling, and any limitations will be coordinated directly with the studio.
– Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
The Ranch reserves the right to award fewer than two winners if participation or performance standards are not met.
FINALS– JUNE 2
All Open Mic Night winners (Crowd Favorite and Wild Card from each qualifying night) will advance to compete in the Ranch Open Mic Finals on June 2 at Heim BBQ in Weatherford.
- Final winner selection method will be announced before the event.
- One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a Grand Prize (TBD).
- Grand Prize winner will be determined by crowd vote.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
– Participants must comply with all venue rules and event staff instructions.
– By participating, artists grant The Ranch the right to use their name, image, likeness, and performance audio/video for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
– The Ranch reserves the right to modify rules, event format, or prizes at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
– All decisions made by The Ranch and event staff are final.
