The Texas State FFA Association took Fort Worth by storm for the 94th Annual Convention July 11th – 15th. Over 14,560 dedicated members from across the State of Texas joined together at the Fort Worth Convention Center for the annual meeting that featured seminars, keynote speeches, and specialized leadership workshops recognizing outstanding members for their achievements.

The annual convention is also the event in which the new State Officer Team is announced. These twelve students will represent Texas FFA starting in the fall. While the area representatives will fulfill their responsibilities during their time in college, the President and First Vice President will take a gap year to carry out their duties. During their 365 days in office, they will work with 400 Texas schools to conduct leadership workshops and deliver keynote addresses. Serving as a state officer is regarded as one of the highest honors within the Texas FFA Association.

This officer team visited Billy Bob’s Texas on Saturday, July 16th to experience the World’s Largest Honky-Tonk first hand. They checked out all the neat music memorabilia, ate at the Honky-Tonk kitchen, and even participated in line dance lessons! The leadership team took turns chatting with each other and The Ranch was on site to capture the fun! Check out the videos below, and help us congratulate the 2022 – 2023 Texas State FFA officers!
