1. Scope

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how LKCM Radio Group, LP (“LKCM Radio Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects mobile telephone numbers and related information in connection with our text messaging (SMS) programs.

It supplements our general Privacy Policy. Where the two differ with respect to text messaging, this SMS Privacy Policy controls.

2. Our SMS programs

LKCM Ops Alerts (internal operational alerting)

Automated notifications sent to LKCM Radio Group employees and contracted engineering staff regarding the status of broadcast equipment, transmitters, STL and remote codec links, streaming audio, playout automation, and studio IT infrastructure. Messages are generated by monitoring systems in response to operational events rather than on a schedule. Message frequency varies. This program is a closed internal list and is not available to the public.

Messages in this program are sent from 1-877-359-1249.

3. Information we collect

  • The name, role, and work contact information of the person enrolling, for internal alerting programs.
  • Records of consent, including the signed authorization form, the date consent was given, and the staff member who processed the enrollment.
  • Message delivery logs, including timestamps, delivery status, and inbound keyword replies such as STOP, START, and HELP.

We do not collect message content from your device, your contacts, your location, or any other information from your handset.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or rent mobile telephone numbers.

6. Consent

Enrollment in LKCM Ops Alerts requires written opt-in. The individual completes and signs the LKCM Ops Alerts SMS Authorization form before their number is added to the alert list. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of any purchase. Signed authorizations are retained by LKCM Radio Group.

10. Carriers

Delivery is subject to the availability of your mobile carrier’s network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.

11. Retention and security
