Handsome middle-aged man looking for a home where he can be the king of the castle! Astro is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix who is smart as a whip! This boy has never met a fluffy toy he couldn’t shred and does so with the gusto of a man determined to win a hot dog eating contest. Astro would do great in a home as a companion to just chill out and relax with, or maybe throw a ball around — he doesn’t care as long as he is with you. This sweet boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained and he even knows “sit”, “come”, and “down”!

Astro doesn’t do well around other dogs and thinks tiny humans are a bit scary, so he would do best in a home as the only pet and either an adult-only home, or a family with older children. Come meet this sweetheart at the Waggin’ Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open every day from 12-6 pm, by appointment!
