The new Dickies Arena is scheduled to open in Fall of 2019. The City of Fort Worth is in the process of improving Montgomery Street to accommodate the new arena, retail shops, restaurants, and specialty stores that will be part of the improved entertainment district.

Right now, the residing businesses on Montgomery Street are open during this construction and improvement period. The newly formed “Montgomery Life” business alliance is working together to create awareness of these businesses and give locals even more reason to “Shop Local” this Holiday Season!

Here is an interview with our own Malone and MacKenzie Hughes, General Manager of Fort Worth Camera about these exciting improvements.

We are so excited about this improvement to the cultural district! Below are some artist renderings of the planned project when complete.

Taco Heads, Vending Nut Company, Fort Worth Billiards, Fort Works Art, Fort Worth Camera, Economy Supply, Jazz Café, Ye Old Bull and Bush, Montgomery Street Café, Morris Boot Company, Arlington Heights Animal Hospital, and more are all open and ready to help you Shop Fort Worth!
