On Saturday over nine thousand Ranch Fans piled into Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth for Ranch Bash 2017. The party started early with Saints Eleven kicking off the music at 1:30pm for an enthusiastic early crowd, making it clear how they beat out multiple bands to win 106.9 the Ranch’s Battle of the Bands this year. Following Saints Eleven the crowd was entertained by impressive sets from the Read Southall Band, John Baumann, and Grady Spencer and the Work. When Texas Legend Gary P. Nunn took the stage, just after 4pm, the crowd had swelled to the thousands. By the way if you’re a fan of Gary P., which you certainly ought to be, pre-order a copy of his new auto biography At Home with the Armadillo available at www.garypnunn.com. An amazing reunion set from No Justice on the Jag Metals LLC Stage led into Shane Smith and the Saints on the MetroPCS Stage.

As the sun set, the fastest rising star in Texas, Stephenville’s own Koe Wetzel, made his Ranch Bash debut to a packed crowd of fans holding up their smartphones to capture every minute as they sang along with seemingly every tune.

Singer-Songwriter Zane Williams followed Koe belting out his traditional brand of Country music to keep the party going. Finally, despite ominous reports early in the week, the weather cooperated and the rain held off long enough to allow headliner Mike Ryan to close out Ranch Bash. Make sure you pick up a copy of Mike’s brand new Blink You’ll Miss It album that dropped the day before Ranch Bash.

Big thanks to all the Ranch fans that helped to make this the Best Ranch Bash Ever, the vendors, Ranch staff, and to all of the sponsors who made it possible, Bud Light, TRVA, Jag Metals LLC, MetroPCS, Compass Air Services, Cavender’s, Cinch Jeans and Shirts, Outdoor Power Sports, Colorado High Vodka, Spec’s Wine Spirits and Finer Food, El Gabacho Tex Mex Grill, Mule Barn Sports Bar and Grill, Taco Casa, United States Marine Corps and Sportsman RV Rentals.
